The picturesque and historic village of Aberdour, known as the Jewel of Fife, is located on the south coast of Fife. Although Aberdour is a small village it has much to offer, the village has quaint narrow streets, historic buildings, hotels, b&bâ€™s, restaurants, convenience stores, gift shops, a golf course a bowling green and two award winning beaches. The name Aberdour means â€˜River Mouth of the Dour.â€™ The Dour Burn (river Dour) formed the scenic natural harbour. Looking south over the Firth of Forth you can see Island of Inchcolm, and Edinburgh.
