The village of Wroxall in Warwickshire is to be found conveniently located between the M42 and M40 motorways making this a superb location for its residents. The history of the village stretches back to before the 12th century however it was in the 12th century that a Benedictine Priory was established here. Much of the original building was subsequently demolished however what remained is to be found today at the Wroxall Estate, an hotel and conference centre. Set in its own grounds and with a story to tell for depicted within its stained glass windows is part of the history of one of the Prioryâ€™s former owners, Sir Hugh de Hatton who fought in The Crusades and was imprisoned in Jerusalem.
