Willingham is a large pleasant village positioned on the edge of the Fens, in the County of Cambridgeshire, and is home to just over three and a half thousand people. It dates as far back as Saxon times and has a diverse, and interesting history from the ancient road where hundreds of Pilgrims in centuries past made their way to Ely Cathedral just ten miles or so away, playing host to Henry III in 1244 who stayed here, to witnessing the arrival by parachute of a German Spy during the second World War.
