Whitebridge is a rural village in the Highlands of Scotland in Inverness situated at the foot of the Monadhliath Mountain Range, 3 miles from the shores of Loch Ness. Archaeological studies have found the area to have been inhabited as far back as 5-6000 years with Neolithic people, Beaker People, Ancient Picts and Celtic Clans. The original bridge in Whitebridge, can still be seen today, it was built in the 18th century by General Wade and his soldiers, who were responsible for building the new road systems.
