Wellow is a pretty village just five miles from the City of Bath, in Somerset. The village is a centre for walkers as the streams, woodland and patchwork countryside is second to none. The National Cycle Network is here and leads to the Kennett & Avon Canal, the 14th Century church has delightful wall paintings. For the lovers of history the twin arched Medieval Bridge and the Roman Remains not to mention the 6,000 year old Long Barrow wonâ€™t fail to please. The Trekking Centre will take you on horse or pony along bridleways through picturesque scenery, or why not try quad biking, or archery.
