Weedon Bec is a large village and parish six miles south east of Daventry in Northamptonshire. It is commonly referred to as simply Weedon, although it includes Weedon, Lower Weedon and Upper Weedon, once three distinct villages but now merged into one. The Grand Union Canal passes through the village, as does the West Coast Main Line, although the village station closed down in the 1960's. Part of the village lies on the A5, known as Watling Street and once the main London to Holyhead Stage Coach route.
