Wadeford is a tiny rural village set on the edge of the beautiful Blackdown Hills in Somerset. It is close to Chard and the A303 trunk road that runs from Basingstoke in Hampshire to Honiton in Devon. The Blackdown Hills have been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, reaching 1035 above sea level at the highest point. You can explore this area whilst using the four-star Haymaker Inn as your base. Overlooking the wooded valley of the River Isle, the Inn has undergone extensive refurbishment and has won several awards, including the Somerset Life Country Pub of the Year 2005 and Somerset Chef of the Year 2005.
