Today there are two parks within Toxteth ,Sefton Park and Princes Park, Sefton Park offering tree lined walkways with a cafe in the centre and is home to Sefton Park Cricket Club whilst Princes Park boasts a serpentine lake and circular drive, whilst Princes Park was once in private ownership today both parks are owned by the local authority.
