The Exe, Creedy and Culm rivers wind their way through water meadows and native woodland of Mid Devon on their way to the sea. Within the lush wooded valleys a wide diversity of wildlife thrives. Deer, fox and badger are common, whilst the elusive otter is an occasional and much-treasured sight. Heron and kingfisher feed along the rivers and buzzards hunt across rough pasture and the higher moorlands.
