The town of Timperley lies between Altrincham and Sale with easy access to both Manchester and its ring road the M60 which provides access to the main motorway networks throughout the north west. In recent years this has become an extremely popular place to live as access to Manchester City Centre is now aided by the Metrolink, a regular tram link to the City Centre. Looking at Timperley today you would not believe that originally this area was the market garden for Manchester as much of what is now built on was used as agricultural land until well into the 18th century.
