St Neot is an attractive village nestling in a picturesque River Valley on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, and is home to nearly nine hundred people. It has an intriguing history which dates back to Saxon times, there was a Monastery in the 11th Century, the tower of which remains at the impressive 15th Century church which has amazing stained glass windows dating back to Medieval times, and is where a branch is placed in the tower every Oak Apple Day to commemorate Charles II, who hid in a nearby Oak Tree after the Battle of Worcester.
