The village of Rearsby in Leicestershire dates back to the 9th Century when the Danes settled here, the Rearsby Brook runs through the village and under the magnificent Medieval bridge. The ‘Leicestershire Round’ is a 100 mile walk around Leicestershire and passes through the village. The 13th Century church of St Michael and All Angels has jewelled coloured stained glass windows, and a 13th Century font. Or why not visit the 18th Century ’ Belgrave Hall‘, with rooms set as life was in Victorian and Edwardian England.
