Portreath is a small fishing port set in a valley on the north west Cornish Coast home to 1335 people. The beautiful cliffs offer stunning views and breathtaking walks, where seabirds soar and seals may be spotted in secret coves. The beach has a stream coursing through it where children explore the rock pools with surprised faces and surfers ride the swells expertly. The harbour although not as busy as in itâ€™s heyday sees a small fishing fleet and colourful pleasure boats that keep many an artist or photographer occupied.
