The timeless beauty of Peel keeps visitors coming back to this ancient fishing port. Located on the west coast, it's known for breathtaking sunsets, with the skies glowing crimson behind Peel Castle - a magnificent ruin situated on top of St Patrick's Isle, beside the harbour. From here, there are unforgettable views of the sea, the town and the surrounding hills. Hill-walkers should enjoy the climb to Corrin's Folly, a 200-year-old monument. Peel is designated a city because of its cathedral, but its narrow streets and small houses are full of olde-world charm.
