Otley is a small village lying in the heart of the Suffolk Heights, eight miles from Ipswich. The village is home to Otley Hall and Otley College. Otley Hall is a grade I listed 16th century moated hall, set in 10 acres of gardens. The house is now privately owned but available for a variety of functions and events. The gardens are open Wednesday afternoons from May to September and private guided tours of the house can be arranged at any time of the year. Otley College was originally created as an agricultural and horticultural College and covers 31 acres.
