Some March Cottages

March is a Market Town with links back to Roman times set amongst the Fenlands of Cambridgeshire. There is a fabulous church with an impressive roof thatâ€™s carved with a host of Angels. The River Nene runs through the town, and the Narrow Boats glide along with swans and ducks, and makes a perfect study for budding artists. The March and District Museum has three Victorian room settings including kitchen, parlour and Nursery. Together with a wealth of railway memorabilia and even medical instruments that would make your toes curl, outside is a replica of a Fenland Cottage, complete with draughty outside â€™Privyâ€™.
