Some Lympsham Cottages

The village of Lympsham lies just south of Weston Super Mare on the north east coast of the English county of Somerset. It offers easy access to the M5 motorway via the nearby junction 22, providing an efficient route to all parts of the West Country. Settlements in the area are believed to date from as far back as Saxon times, when it is thought that attempts were made to improve drainage of the land. In 1129 it was recorded by the Abbott of Glastonbury that corn was being grown on the land that was previously thought to have been worthless.
