In the South West corner of Shropshire, close to the border with Wales and nestling in the heart of the South Shropshire Hills is the village of Lydbury North. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the village is just south of Bishops Castle and is relatively convenient for Shrewsbury and Ludlow. The reason that people visit though is more to do with its location than its convenience to these larger towns, the scenic walks through the surrounding countryside, or if you prefer something a little less strenuous then you can always visit Walcot Hall, this is ideal for a gentle stroll and overlooks the village.
