Longridge is an historic town positioned above the Ribble River, in the county of Lancashire, and is home to just over seven and a half thousand people. It has an interesting history which dates as far back in time as the Bronze Age, the small agricultural settlement grew up around the church and remained the same for centuries until the arrival of the Industrial Revolution in the 19th Century which brought the Railway, steam powered Cotton Mills and the Quarries whose stone was transported for miles around resulting in growth and expansion.
