Llandybie in Carmarthenshire is a large village, two miles north of Ammanford. Everywhere here is steeped in myths and legends. (The caves on the limestone crop are allegedly the resting place of a sleeping warrior - be careful you don’t wake him.) There is a C5th church and Oliver Cromwell is also reputed to have stayed in the locality. Llandybie is a station stop on the heart of Wales line with the award winning Red Lion Inn adjacent. Many visitors come here to enjoy the quiet charm of the towns and villages or to walk in the foothills of the Black Mountains.
