Kinnersley village, in scenic Herefordshire, is near the Welsh border and situated on the A4112, 15miles to the northwest of Hereford in an area called The Marches. Kinnersley also has a railway station, on the Hereford and Brecon line. This rural and picturesque village has a pub (The Kinnersley) with a restaurant. There are hotels in the towns nearby but the place itself offers Chess Cottage Self catering accommodation (an 18th Century stable conversion) and Upper Newton Farmhouse B&B. Kinnersley Castle was originally Norman but was remodelled as an Elizabethan Manor House, in fact it is still a family home today.
