Kingsteignton is a large attractive village dating back to Saxon times positioned on the banks of the River Teign in south Devon. This popular village with country lanes and Medieval church is home to over eleven thousand people. Famed for it’s rich deposits of clay that Josiah Wedgewood first purchased in the 18th Century. Cyclists and Walkers can embark on a voyage of discovery along the banks of the river, often rewarded with glimpses of Herons, Ducks, and the brilliant flash of colour as the Kingfisher dives.
