Kingham is a village in Oxfordshire, situated in the Evenlode valley between Stow-on-the-Wold & Chipping Norton. The large green is surrounded by stone & thatched cottages, whilst the Norman church dedicated to Saint Andrew has a fine old rectory built in the 17th century. Kingham is unique amongst Cotswold villages as it is served by a main line railway station. In 2004 readers of "Country Life" magazine voted Kingham as ‘England's favourite village’. Kingham Hill School is just on the outskirts.
