Lying in the county of Warwickshire and close to the border with Northamptonshire the village of Kilsby is an attractive village with evidence of Iron Age and Roman settlements. The local towns of Rugby and Daventry are nearby with Northampton and Coventry both less than half an hour away and is conveniently placed for the M6,M1 and M45. 1642 was an important year for the village as it is recorded that the first blood of the Civil War was spilt here, the next most important event to occur was in the 1830â€™s when work was commenced on the Kilsby Tunnel.
