Kelso is a historic town in the borders region of Scotland situated between the Rivers Tweed and Teviot, approximately one hours drive from Edinburgh and 1h 15 from Newcastle. Kelso is well-known as having the largest Market Square in Scotland; the cobbled square was once an important cattle market and still displays the Bull Ring in the centre. Kelso is a popular tourist resort with many interesting shops, holiday cottages, B&Bâ€™s, hotels, restaurants and a selection of places to eat. There is an ice rink, a bowling alley and swimming pool.
