Hook Norton is a village in north Oxfordshire, near the Warwickshire border, on the edge of the Cotswolds. It lies between the market towns of Banbury and Chipping Norton. In the centre of the village is St Peter's Church, a largely 15th century church of Norman origins that features a 12th century chancel and an unusual 11th century font. The church also houses an 18th century hand-pumped fire engine. Hook Norton has a village shop and post office, as well as a park and 4 good food pubs. It is particularly famed for the Hook Norton Brewery which is one of the last surviving Victorian breweries.
