Set among the luscious green hills of North Devon is the ancient market town of Holsworthy. It is ideally situated as a centre from which to visit Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor and provides access to the famous Tarka Trail. Holsworthy is a traditional market town and still hosts a thriving cattle market, the highlight of this rural townâ€™s activities. A regular market is held in the town Square every Wednesday alongside a Womenâ€™s Institute market, providing an opportunity for locals to meet and to mingle with and extend a warm Devon welcome to visitors.
