Hayfield is a delightful village on the River Sett, positioned in a valley in the Peak District in Derbyshire, home to just over two thousand people. The village has attractive limestone houses, and beautiful surrounding countryside known as the kinder Gateway. Walkers will refuse to stay indoors with the tapestry of greens, and the bracken, and heather covered Moors. Brave hearts may wish to climb to Kinder Scout, a high wind swept plateau, with dramatic views of the Kinder River as it cascades into a stunning waterfall.
