The village has the River Mease flowing through its centre and the area abounds with bridleways and footpaths providing easy access to the National Forest It is not just the surrounding countryside which offers an interesting diversion but the local architecture, The Manor House is a timber framed building originally constructed around 1540 whilst there is also The Homestead, Haselour Hall and St Matthewâ€™s Church - part of which dates back to the 11th century.
