Grouville is a parish on the south eastern corner of Jersey. It boasts the magnificent sandy beaches of the Royal Bay of Grouville, which constitutes approximately half of the eastern coast of Jersey. The bay was granted its royal prefix after impressing Queen Victoria in 1846. One of the advantages of this beach is that, due to its size, it does not get as crowded as some of the other beaches on the island. Grouville is divided into four districts, De la Rue, La Rocque, Les Marais and Longueville.
