Glenfarg is a small village in the county of Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is situated in the Ochil Hills near Clackmannan. The eastern side of the village runs parallel with the M90 motorway. In 1890 the Forth Rail Bridge opened and the North British Railway company planned to open a direct line to Perth, the original settlement in the area was the hamlet of Arngask situated further east. Glenfarg station was built to serve this upland area, and the new settlement quickly grew known as Glenfarg.
