Elsenham is a small village in North West Essex. Its neighbouring towns include Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Walden, and Stansted Mountfitchet. The village is approximately 3 miles from Stansted Airport. The village has one pub called The Crown, located on the junction of Elsenham Cross. A small row of shops on the high street includes a One Stop convenience store, a hairdressers and a small post office. The village church is St. Mary the Virgin, located on Lane Hall Road. Leisure facilities include the Elsenham Golf Centre.
