Durness is a remote village in the Highlands of Scotland, the most north-westerly village on mainland Britain, situated on the Kyle of Durness with Thurso 72 miles east and Ullapool 68 miles south. Accommodation in the area comprises of a hotel, a B&B, a hostel and a campsite situated on the cliff-top above Sango Bay with an access point down to the beautiful golden beach.
