Crieff is the second largest town in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The scenic town is situated on the hillside of the Crieff Knock standing 911ft high with the River Earn flowing below. Translated from Gaelic, Crieff, means ‘Hill of Trees. The main industry here is tourism with the lure of The Crieff Hydro, a luxurious hotel complex with spa facilities, along with other holiday accommodation and a challenging golf course. Other industries include Whiskey, pottery and glassware. Historically the town was known as Drummond after the Drummond Earls of Perth, the local patrons.
