Some Cliftonville Cottages

Cliftonville is a coastal town near the bigger resort of Margate in Kent. It also contains the area known as Palm Bay. The original Palm Bay estate was built in the 1930s as a number of large, wide avenues with detached and semi-detached houses. These avenues include Gloucester Avenue and Leicester Avenue and they still remain the most prestigious roads in Cliftonville. The main shopping street is Northdown Road with several banks and two Post Offices. There is a small supermarket, a petrol station and several pubs and churches along the two mile length of Northdown Road, as well as some smaller shops and cafes.
