Bristol International Airport was built in 1957 although it’s conception happened back in 1930 when a group of business men joined together, before it moved to it’s present location. It is situated just eight miles from Bristol City Centre, and although a small airport, it served over 5.8 million passengers in 2007 who took off to 118 destinations in 27 countries. It is well served by trains, coaches, buses, and taxis, or if driving there are a choice of Long Stay and Short Stay Car Parks, Valet Parking is also on offer and helps to take the stress of travelling away, a cheaper option would be to book an hotel accommodation/deal where it’s usually free or discounted.
