Bridgwater, nestling quietly on the banks of the River Parrett, is at
first glance like any other town, but it doesn't take long to realise
that there is more to this industrial town than meets the eye, much
more..
Bridgwater's history starts almost at the beginning with an entry in the
Doomsday book. Throughout the following centuries it has played an
important part in the growth of the area, in 1402 it was a major
shipping port in the West Country and today it is a thriving industrial
town attracting many new businesses and major retail parks.
