Situated in Devon, right on the South coast, Branscombe is said to be the longest village in England. Its name derives from its location between two valleys, or â€œCombesâ€. The quaint thatched cottages wind their scenic way almost down to the sea and it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots along the Devon coastline. Arriving in Branscombe is an instantaneous step back in time. Visit the old bakery, where once inside you will be greeted by warm open fires, baking tins and the storage jars of old.
