Bradford is a city rich in history, unique heritage and cultural diversity.
Two centuries ago the city was a key player in the industrial revolution and growing fast with the boom in the wool trade.
In the mid-1800s it was estimated that two-thirds of the country's wool production was processed in Bradford. European merchant settlers brought money and prestige and with it the city became known as the wool capital of the world.
Today, Bradford is a centre of commerce and finance but the legacies of its industrial past are still evident in wonderful buildings and architecture.
