Bollington is a small yet vibrant town on the banks of the River Dean in the county of Cheshire, and it is home to just over seven thousand people. Its rich industrial heritage can be found around the town and is a link with its milling past. When the Industrial Revolution arrived many Mills were constructed bringing employment and wealth to the town, rows of mill worker's cottages can be found and the engineering wonders of the Aqueducts built to bring water to the Mills can still be seen over Palmerston Street, and Grimshaw Lane.
