Blairgowrie is the second largest town and parish in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, situated in the fertile farmland in the Strathmore Valley, 16 miles north-east of Perth. Blairgowrie is a tourist resort and market town, well known for its soft fruit growing industry, visitor attractions and holiday accommodation. The River Ericht flows through the town dividing Blairgowrie on the west bank and its twin burgh, Rattray on the east bank before arriving at the River Tay. Each is a separate parish with their own churches.
