Battlesbridge is a village in Essex, nestled on the banks of the River Crouch midway between Chelmsford and Southend-on-Sea. It has the largest Antiques Centre in Essex, established in 1967. The Battlesbridge Antiques Centre comprises of five period buildings -Cromwell House, The Bridgebarn, The Haybarn, The Old Granary and Muggeridge Farm, and houses over 80 dealers offering advice, valuations and opinions. Refreshments are available at The Barge Inn or The Old Granary, which also has views over the River Crouch and surrounding area.
