Axmouth is an attractive small coastal village near to the River Axe in Devon, home to nearly five hundred people. The pretty colour washed cottages are peppered throughout, and the Norman church of St Michaelâ€™s has evocative Medieval Wall paintings to share. The ancient harbour today sees colourful yachts and fishermen take centre stage of many a canvas, a stroll around the harbour at sunset or sunrise is good for the soul, or maybe a walk along the Downland Cliffs or South Coastal Path will share stunning views and interesting wildlife.
