Ashwater is a small picturesque rural village in the North-West of Devon. It is the epitome of an archetypal English country village with a school, 13th Century church, Parish Hall, village store/Post-Office and an Inn situated right on the village green. The village green of course is the site of many village events including an annual Easter egg hunt. There is also a Methodist chapel and graveyard just outside the village. Visit this peaceful and idyllic spot on a clear day and you will be able to enjoy a view of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
