Ardfern is a small picturesque village positioned on the coast of the Craignish Peninsular in Scotland. The village is surrounded by stunning scenery and overlooks the Craignish Loch. It is the largest settlement on the Peninsular, although when the population declined in the early twentieth century the Laird decided to develop a Yacht Centre and Marina which continues to draw visitors and holidaymakers alike. There is a handful of shops for the everyday purchase and a craft centre to browse although this is no shopping metropolis, it is however rich in beauty with stunning countryside to explore, and has views towards Eilean Mhic Chrion which entices artists and writers to live here.
