This lovely stone building is the larger one of two delightful properties, set one above the other, next door to The Old Coach House (24689) and in the courtyard of Brook House, which dates back to the 12th-century. Brook House is oozing in history, and has stood through many wars throughout its time. Many famous people from the past have visited this house, including Henry VII in 1499. Other famous visitors included Winston Churchill, Lloyd George, the Astor’s, the Prince of Wales (Edward VII) and Queen Mary. ..
