Walkerburn is a small village in the Borders region of Scotland situated on the north side of the River Tweed two miles east of the village of Innerleithen and 8 miles from Peebles. Settlers to the area date back to the Pictish period, 600-700AD with the remains of ancient terraces discovered on Purvis Hill and Plora Hill.
