Turvey is a riverside village with limestone houses and cottages, the oldest bridge in Bedfordshire is here originally 1140 replaced in the 17th Century. The village store was once ‘The Tinker Of Turvey Inn’ dating back to 1150, his wife ‘Nell’ had a well named after her that can be seen today. ‘All Saints Church’ has an oak door with 13th Century iron work, a Norman font and stunning Medieval painting what more could be asked for.
