Sutton Cheney is a small picturesque village set deep within the heart of the Leicestershire Countryside home to just over five hundred people. Narrow lanes where the warm hue of red brick cottages are unveiled at every turn, and the two ancient Coaching Inns forge a link with the past. This pocket of Leicester is famed for it's royal visitor, King Richard III who came to the village church of St James for mass and reflection the very night before a bloody battle was fought at the Battle Of Bosworth, which took place on the 22nd August 1485.
