St Levan is a pretty village bordered by cliffs, in the past relied on shell fishing as it‘s main industry. The bay is topped by green carpeted cliffs reaching down into the sea, The church is mostly Norman, once inside the beautiful carved bench ends date back to the 14th Century, also within the church is the ancient stone of St Levan, legend has it that it was used by the saint as a seat. There is also granite steps that lead down to a tiny chapel from St Levan’s Well, which is a Medieval Holy Well.
